One of our main goals is to provide online scheduling for everyone. Together with the Swiss organizations AGILE and Egalité Handicap we have been able to make Doodle more accessible for blind and visually impaired individuals to use the scheduling tool with the help of specific website reading devices. These changes also helped us improve the overall structure and code quality of our web pages.

“The improved accessibility offered by Doodle enables blind and visually impaired people to easily attend meetings and other events,” AGILE writes in its press release. “This is a tangible act for better integration and equal treatment of users.”

    Hi
I am blind and use Jaws 11. On July 2011, I tried to register myself for a meeting but I have not been successful because there was not any field on the page indicated by Jaws to mark my name or email address. Could you please explain how we have to proceed when registering ourselves using Jaws ? In addition the calendar was presented in a table and I didn’t understand how to select the date convenient to me because we had choice between several sessions.
    Thanks in advance

@Jamshid, Doodle always offer several different options to choose from. Maybe you got confused by the basic behavior as such? There is a name field but no email field. Enter your name then choose any dates you are available for.

      Hope that helps!?
